Two speculative industrial units totalling 1200m² constructed on a former bakery site adjacent to a residential area.

The design incorporates a change of colours to lower the eye line, using a slate grey to provide synergy with the existing Victorian terraces adjacent to the site.

Internal remodelling of a food production facility, Barron Design was appointed under a partnership agreement with the main contractor to develop a design that could be safely constructed within a live food production facility.

This was the first of more than 20 projects now completed for this Client. Barron Design specialises in this type of logistically complex design for a number of clients.

Barron Design was appointed to design a new stand alone building to house the thermal oil plant associated with the main production lines to comply with a new EU Directive for fire safety in food production facilities.

This design is now used as a model and has been constructed at similar facilities in Wisbech, Grantham and Cambridge.
